Welcome to Past and Present Music – a webzine that is dedicated to unveiling
the best in music to the reader. We are trying to cover as much musical ground as humanly possible, by writing about new (and
not so new, if it gets sent to us) music in every corner of the musical spectrum – both when it comes to unsigned artists
as well as releases from the bigger labels. However, we’re limited to whatever record-labels choose to send us, which
at this point is quite a lot actually.
We started way back in 1998, then writing in Danish. After a while, though,
I found out that it was way to demanding keeping on writing in Danish, as a lot of the artists and labels that were sending
us material for review wanted translations of the reviews. This and the fact that I wanted more people to be able to read
the content of the site, finally in 2003 made me decite that everything we’d write would be in English.
